Oriora — Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-26 Effective: 2026-05-26
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs all use of Oriora's services. It is incorporated by reference into the Oriora Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Terms of Service.
Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
1. Prohibited use
You must not use Oriora's services to generate, distribute, build, or enable any content or activity that is harmful, illegal, or infringes third-party rights — including but not limited to: sexually explicit or NSFW content, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), deepfakes or face-manipulation content, weapons or dangerous materials, hate speech or violent extremism, misinformation, surveillance tools, malware, fraud or phishing, or any content that violates the acceptable-use policies of Oriora's underlying AI vendors (see Section 4).
2. High-risk use cases
If Oriora's services are used — whether directly through a pre-built Oriora app or via Managed AI or BYOK to power your own application — to produce outputs in any high-risk area, you must: (i) ensure a qualified professional reviews the AI-generated output before it is acted upon or presented to any individual; and (ii) disclose to those individuals, at the start of each session, that AI was used to produce the output.
High-risk areas include: legal guidance, medical or mental health advice, financial or insurance decisions, employment or housing determinations, academic testing or admissions, critical infrastructure, and any other context where an incorrect AI output could cause significant harm to a person.
Oriora's outputs in these areas are not a substitute for qualified professional advice.
3. AI disclosure requirement for consumer-facing products
If you use Oriora's services to power any consumer-facing chatbot, conversational agent, or interactive AI interface, you must disclose to users — at minimum at the beginning of each session — that they are interacting with AI, not a human.
4. Vendor AUP compliance
By using Oriora's Managed AI service, you agree to comply with the terms and acceptable-use policies of the underlying AI providers whose models may process your requests. Violation of any provider's terms through your use of Oriora may result in suspension of your account.
5. Enforcement
Oriora may suspend or terminate your account, or any portion of your access to the service, immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated this AUP. Any unused ecosystem dollars remaining in your account at the time of termination for breach are forfeited.
Where Oriora provides Managed AI and our own API credentials are implicated in a violation, we reserve the right to cooperate with the affected AI vendor, law enforcement, or regulatory authorities. We will report to relevant authorities where required by law.
