Apps/Oriora Journal

Oriora Journal

Write freely. The AI reflects without ever reading your words.

A privacy-first macOS journal. Write entries that stay entirely on your Mac. Once a week the AI offers a gentle reflection on your journaling pattern — built from metadata only (dates, lengths, cadence); the text of your entries is never sent anywhere. Your journal stays local; only that metadata slice reaches the AI, billed to your Oriora wallet.

What you get

  • A clean, distraction-free writing space
  • All entries stored locally on your Mac
  • AI weekly reflection — from metadata only, never your words
  • Local-first: your entry text never leaves your Mac

Example outputs

"You wrote on 5 of 7 days this week — your steadiest run yet"
"Entries got longer toward the weekend"
A private archive of everything you have written

FAQ

Does the AI read what I write?

No. The text of your entries is never sent. The weekly reflection is built only from metadata — how often and how much you wrote — so your words stay on your Mac.

Where is my data stored?

On your Mac, in a local database. Oriora never stores your journal.

Do I need a subscription?

No. The app is free; you only pay for the AI reflections you run (a fraction of a cent each), billed to your Oriora wallet.

How do I sign in?

With your Oriora account - the app opens a quick sign-in (email code or Google) the first time, then remembers you.
