Whose AI key does it use?
Your own. Connect a vendor key in Oriora Settings; you pay the provider directly plus a small flat Oriora fee per briefing.
When does the briefing run?
Overnight on a daily schedule, so it is ready when you open the app. You can also trigger one on demand from the chat.
Can I add my own news sources?
Yes — add any RSS feed URL alongside the curated defaults, and mute the ones you do not want.
Does it track what I read?
Your interests, thumbs-up/down feedback and every briefing are stored in your own connected GitHub or Google Drive, never on Oriora's servers — that is also why News needs a connected cloud to work at all, there is nowhere else for it to read your preferences from. They are not sold or shared.
What if I disconnect GitHub or Drive later?
News stops running — it has nowhere to read your preferences from or write a briefing to, since Oriora never keeps a copy on its own servers. Reconnect the same account and everything picks back up from what is already sitting in your repo or Drive folder.
