Ask it to reflect and it surfaces the recurring themes and the lessons your own notes already hold; ask it to connect and it finds non-obvious links between specific notes; or just ask a question and get an answer cited to your notes. It reads only what you point it at — no cloud index, no embeddings to maintain. Your notes live on your device; only a short summary and the excerpts it cites are sent for each action.

FAQ
Why isn't this on the App Store?
Mac App Store apps run sandboxed — walled off from the rest of your machine. This one has to read your Mac to be useful at all, so the sandbox would take away the whole point of it. It's a direct download instead, notarized by Apple the same way, and it installs by dragging it to Applications.
Does it give advice?
No. Hindsight surfaces patterns, connections and the lessons your own notes already state — it won't hand out generic productivity advice, and it won't invent links between notes that aren't there.
What leaves my device?
Your notes live on your device. For each action only a short on-device summary plus the specific excerpts it cites are sent — never whole files — and Oriora keeps nothing.
Do I need a subscription?
No. The app is free; you only pay for the actions you run — a fraction of a cent each, billed to your Oriora wallet.
How do I sign in?
With your Oriora account — an emailed code, or Continue with Google, GitHub or Apple. It's the same Oriora sign-in page the website uses, shown inside the app, and one account covers every Oriora app.
